Mariamah Mount

Concinnity means creating harmony together, which I hope to build in our work together.

I am an active person, keenly curious about the world. I hope to bring that into the therapy space while also being completely interested in and non-judgemental about you.

I bring the experience of a long background in work with children, families and individuals. I spent many years as a re-evaluation co-counsellor, parenting workshop facilitator, PSHE (physical, social, health, emotional) educator, and SENCO (special educational needs coordinator). In 2020, I trained in Mental Health Coaching, Art Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Coaching. I also undertook the Level 2 play therapy course with Place2Be. In October 2021 started a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents and Families at the University of Roehampton, which I completed in September 2024.

As I offer mental-health/life-coaching, psychotherapy and counselling, I continue to learn and add skills, approaches and tools including neurobiology, parts work, EMDR, theraplay, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and attachment theory, among others.
